Think Image AB - Almedalsbåten 2014
The Nordic Lounge is proud to have been part of the Almedalsbåten in 2014. www.almedalsbaten.se a project where Think Image AB chartered into Viking Line Cinderella as hotel due during Almedalsveckan.
Departure from Stockholm via Mariehamn to Visby, departure Saturday night 28.6, back Friday morning 4.7.

Gustavsberg Harbour
New exhibition/conference-hall.
We had the privilege of helping Dag Landvik to sell the exhibition & conference hall towards the bus companies and tour operators. For 3 months we contacted these companies from Treriksröset down to Falsterbo, also talked about what's in the area - shops, restaurants, hotels and more. We had Ulo Maasing out there, who at the time wrote for Travel & Transport Forum, (got a couple of good pages in that magazine).

We're working right now with contacting both new and old customers, where we offer transport solutions not only in Sweden but throughout Scandinavia and Europe.
Through our network of contacts we have contact with many bus companies, both small and large that is reputable and provides quality, even in quantity!

Destinations and places to visit.
During the start-up stage, we have been asked to help advertising and sell destinations, places to visit and activities.
We will soon tell you more about this and will in the future newsletters inform you of these.
It feels nice for us to be involved and help small and large businesses with appearance and increase their booking volume.
Travelling by coach is usually nice, a good way to come together on the journey, whether a short transfer or a longer European trip!Going to a conference, you both have time to talk on the trip and maybe do some good and also save some time.
The tourist busses can take different number of guests and is an environmentally friendly alternative.
For example, 40 guests in a coach or 10 cars (at least) with 4 persons in each, one driver in the tourist bus - 10 drivers in the cars!
Swedish National Coach Organisation
The Swedish Bus tour Association is a nonprofit organization with a view to eliminating many laws and rules that have been added over the past 15 years. The problem is when new laws and regulations put into effect, that inclusion are based on a narrow point of view without considering the big picture and the possible consequences.
The association was founded by 70 bus tour operators which accounts for approximately 70-80% of all organized trips by coach.
Environmental planning for the Swedish Bus tour operators
We have from the Swedish Bus tour operators together with EACT www.eact.traveldeveloped an environmental plan for all European coach tour operators.
To help, we have had several environmental associations, researchers from countries that care about our nature. One of our requirements was to provide practical advice that everyone can realize, we took distance from the "PKs" correct environment fuzzy wordings that are mostly found in many travel directories, but no or few care or have knowledge of what you have written together.
