The quiet village of Iznajar is set in the beautiful River Genil valley. Set next to a 32 kilometres long freshwater lake,
it offers the facilities of a beach holiday together with the tranquility of rural Andalucia. The lakeside at Iznajar which
is set in spectacular surroundings, is very popular for swimming, and beach facilities include sailing, windsurfing and
canoeing. Golf at Antequera Golf Club, course designed by Jose Maria Canizaries, is only 40 minutes away.
Casa De Arroyo is ideal for those of you who like walking, fishing or just to have a comfortable base from which to enjoy the real treasures of Andalucia including the Anis Museum and the Jamon Museum in Rute which is only 15 minutes away from the accomodation. Also, there are a few Chocolate museums as well. Spaniards actually take long coach trips to attend these museums, they are something of a national attraction. And they are just 20 minutes away from Casa De Arroyo.
Iznajar has two annual Fiestas in June and September which are enjoyed by both adults and children. With street parades and events all day, and a full blown fun fair and street party all night, these fiesta's are not to be missed. All the bars and restauraunts put out street seating, and the whole town becomes one huge party. However, Casa De Arroyo is perfectly situated - close enough to enjoy the party and not worry about getting home... but far enough away that the all night revelers wil NOT be bothering you when you decide to sleep!

Casa Rosa offers self catering accommodation sleeping up to 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom. It offers a large lounge, fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower and private patio.
Casa Rosa has a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. It has a large comfortable lounge with a woodburning fire for the winter months and satellite TV. Additionally, internet is available via wifi.
Guests have access to a large games room containing darts board, table tennis, dominoes etc. for adults and children alike.
Casa Nispero offers split level Self Catering accommodation sleeping up to 6 people, in one double, one twin and two single bedrooms.
It has a lounge, fitted kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a private dining area situated in a typical Spanish garden courtyard.

A beautiful traditional Cortijo, set in 40 acres of rolling Andalucian hillside, offering accomodation with breakfast and evening meals, all drinks included (whilst at the Cortijo with swimming pool,) and the transfers from and to Malaga Airport (Jerez optional). Iznájar...
...is a village and municipal area in the province of Córdoba in Andalucia, southern Spain.
Located at 37°15′N 4°18′W, it lies on the Genil river approximately 110 km from the provincial capital of Córdobavery close to the borders with both Málaga and Granada provinces at a height of 539 metres above sea level.
The municipality covers an area of 136 km² and in 2005 had a population of 4,960 inhabitants, with a population density of 36.5 people per km².The village itself is situated on top of a huge rocky outcropping overlooking the Embalse de Iznájar, the largest lake in the whole of AndalucÃa, which is frequented throughout the warm season as a beach.
The principal economic activity of the area is the cultivation of olives although tourism is increasingly becoming an economic factor.Iznájar is a classic "pueblo blanco", or white village and is surrounded by its "Aldeas" - sub villages including La Celada, El Higueral, Solerche to name but three.
There are many places to stay, from hotels through to bed & breakfasts to houses or apartments to rent. The whole of the area of Iznájar has a vibrant social life with many fiestas celebrated throughout the year - most notably Semana Santa (Easter), Los Reyes (Three Kings or Twelfth Night) and theFiesta de la Virgen.
