Italy - Bella Italia

Italy, a great country to visit, lovely people,

food & drink that varies from place to place, and in which

part of the country you are in.

Culture, music, theater, opera, art and much more .....

Our goal with our information, we will fill up with this info and more on our pages, are from our part known as appetizers, which should attract you to find something new, that might visit a place where you have been before but might have missed something that you discover here.

Cut from Wikipedia:

Italy is unofficially divided into three areas:

Northern Italy (Italia del Nord, Nord Italia or Alta Italia or Settentrione in Italian): The upper part connected with the continent and that goes from the Alps spine to the line going across the country about where the peninsula begins (north of Pisa south of Ravenna) . The regions located in Northern Italy's Valle d'Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Emilia-Romagna. In Northern Italy live the majority of the country's population.

Central Italy (Italia Centrale and Centro Italia): northern and central part of the peninsula, about a line running south of Rome across the country. Regions located in central Italy, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise. In central Italy is the capital city Rome.

Southern Italy (Sud Italia, Italia del Sud, Meridione or Mezzogiorno): The "foot" and the large islands. The regions are Puglia, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily ochSardinien.

Here we will put out more general information, links to different regions, tips on projects we work with, and much more!

First out is Liguria and then a special part, Portofino coast.

We had the privilege to come here on a field trip, organized by, among other persons, Franco Orio on Conserzio Portofino Coast.

I personally fell in love with this part and plans shortly to return here on a self made field trip at a pace where I have time to shoot more photos and wander around on my own.
